Not sure why this is still called beta Doreen as it just looks like a normal update to me and we ( the beta group) haven't been asked to test it . We are testing V4.1 but it isn't open beta testing yet. Anyway I'm not testing anything at the mo as we are away on holiday!!

Don't know Doreen, maybe. We are taking a few days holiday as we had to have our beloved cat, Douglas, put to sleep on Monday and as you will know losing a pet especially after such a long time is really hard so we thought a break might help us get over it a bit.

Thanks everyone, pets bring so much pleasure but it's so hard to let them go. He was 16 so he had quite a good innings and we have lovely memories.

Condolences from one Shirley to another. I've had to say Goodbye to 9 dogs over 43 years and it gets harder every time. In the past I've dealt with it by rehoming another as soon as possible as I can't help the one that's gone by grieving and getting depressed. And there are so many, both cats and dogs, needing homes. Unfortunately the one I have now will have to be my last but she'll probably outlive me, which is another worry! Hope the holiday helps.

Thank you Shirley and you are right it does get harder every time and we said at the time he would be our last. We have had time to think while we are away and will probably look at adopting another rescue cat when we get home but that will definitely be the last one due to us getting older too !!

Glad you are going to get another cat - wouldn't be without one. Our first two lived to 19 and 18 and so much a part of family memories.
