table setting place cards

I've been asked to make some place cards and thought I'd use my Cameo I've trawled thorough an awful lot of files (both to buy and free) but cant find any. I'm after one where the design stands out when the card is folded. Anyone able to help ? Or even point me in the direction of a tutorial. TIA

I'm not sure if this is what you mean but I would draw the shape of your card type your text make sure it's centered vertically and horizontally (although I didn't it's probably best to weld the letters together after typing them) then use the knife to slice along the bottom of the text (just enough to remove the bottom of the text ) that will allow it to stay attached to the card then add score lines each side of the text in the center of the page so the card folds but the text stays upright (see screenshot).

Monicas creative room has some place cards on there free, and lots of other things too. birds Cards have lots too, also free.

I would sujest Monicas and bird. I have used the place cards from Monicas creative rooms it was the butterfly one. worked lovely
