    Ain't that the truth Ellie.

If I get a chance now I'll try to make a card with yellow, maybe an Easter card or Mother's Day, that's next isn't it?

Fab wall hanging Ellie I like the first card the best Alison, that double matting really sets off the collage. I have made a yellow card, but I am not too happy with it, when the light is better I will take a photo and you can see.
But - I have just blogged these which I made at the beginning of the month and I had forgotten that they have yellow in them!!! A set of six 3" thank you cards using the SU Tie Dyed set.

That's a lovely idea Wendy and one which I keep meaning to do, make sets of cards that is, mainly to give away. Do you put inserts in your cards?

I've photographed the wedding cards which I'll post after Saturday, one actually has the tiniest bit of yellow in it.

At present I am literally struggling with a 'simple' card. It needs something more but not too much and I can't figure out what.

I need to get out this afternoon with all three cameras and try them out against each other, so cards will have to wait for now.

Hi, I was wondering where you all were

Susie, hope you can sort out your cameras, and your card.
Looking forward to seeing the wedding card.

Hi Denise, have you got over the fire now, hope so.

I've made a card this morning.
It's simple , but it's got yellow in it.
    Ellie.

Lovely Ellie the little flower yellow matches the die cut yellow perfectly
I still feel a bit tender not sleeping all through the night think theres nothing worse than being awake in the night keep waking up with funny thoughts n dreams
I think the simpliest cards are the hardest Susie to get just right

Sorry to hear that you are not sleeping Denise.
It's not nice , not being able to sleep. I never ever sleep through the night!!
I wake up every couple of hours, sometimes going back to sleep, and sometimes
    awake for hours!
I hope that you settle down soon. The thoughts and dreams are I'm sure
because you were frightened, and you are still thinking about it....
    It will take time

You are so right Ellie, it must have been an awful experience to go through, I'm not surprised you're not sleeping properly.

I have found the only thing to help me sleep through the night is Melatonin but in time release form. You need to take it about an hour before bed, or at least I do and sometimes, hubby and I wake up in exactly the same position we went to sleep in. I order mine through Biovea. There are times when nothing will work but for the most part this really does.

I have sorted the camera situation. I took my original camera and the two new ones and took photo's of a nearby park with each camera. The Panasonic is far and away the better camera, much better than the Canon. The good thing about the test was I was using the same memory card, so I couldn't tell which photo came from which camera until I right clicked and then clicked on Get Info. So it was a completely random test. I'll put some photo's on the other thread, not sure they'll match the prompts but I'll make them somehow.

Another lovely card Ellie, I'm loving the yellow, it really brightens up a card.

Denise, sorry you're not sleeping, it's not surprising though. Hope things settle down for you now x

Susie, look forward to seeing the wedding cards
    Alison

But we are off to Oxford tomorrow, it's our 32nd wedding anniversary so we are having a few days away :-) I must finish DH's anniversary card before tomorrow!!! I have used THE Happy Anniversary die

    I still haven't packed....
These are the two yellow cards, the first I don't like.... each element is fine, I just don't feel that they mesh. The second I am happy with and have another idea for that die, but it'll have to wait until I come back.

I think they are both really lovely. Is that a TL flourish die I see linking the butterflies? That's a great idea I may have to pinch that Wendy, if that's okay!

Have a lovely anniversary and a great time away.

    Happy Anniversary Wendy.
I like both cards, but I think that the first one stands out more.
I like that one the best.
