Exclamation The 2017 Pantone card challenge - March

    Morning everyone!

Apologies for my absence much of Feb here and in blogland - I'm currently under huge time pressures for work projects that are set to continue well into March so I have no crafting time right now and evenings and weekends are spent working. I'm hoping there will be light at the end of the tunnel in March!

But in the meantime, please enjoy this month's pick from the Pantone Spring colours for 2017 that we are using for this challenge:

    Pantone Spring 2017.jpg

As always additional hints and tips are included in my monthly blog post - here's the one for March.

The full instructions and details for this year's challenge can be found here in the January post.

And past prompts will be listed under the tag 2017 Pantone card challenge on my blog.

Also for those of you on Instagram, I'll be using the hashtag #2017pantonecardchallenge to share my projects there, so feel free to use this tag on Instagram as well!

So on with this month's Pantone colour...

    Primrose Yellow

    03 - Primrose Yellow.jpg

Primrose Yellow definitely gives you scope to go with Spring and Easter cards and pairs so beautifully with grey tones and neutrals or as a contrasting pop of colour with other shades.
As always you don't need to go monochromatic and have yellow as your only colour - sometimes less is more.

I look forward to seeing what you make.

    Happy crafting!

    ~ Natty ~

Not my colour either Ellie but it can be such a fresh yellow or I do like primrose yellow. Yes this should be very doable, thanks Nat!

Elaine, didn't you just post a yellow flowered card on the I Made This thread, you should pop it onto here to start us off.

I was inspired by the birds on the duvet cover in the inspo pic. I used squeezed lemonade & mustard seed distress inks and Impress lemon yellow.

A lovely card and lovely shade of yellow, it's very fresh. Now that's what I call quick of the mark.

That's so pretty. I love the contrast of the yellow with the green and purple.
