It's glued again. To be honest, I think subconsciously I do it on purpose so I have an excuse to sniff the silicone glue. The smell takes ages to disappear and I do love it!

I've just thought, I haven't made a red card but I do have one from Christmas that I might put on here to fill a space. I don't think I've posted it before. My great-nephew loves spiderman!

Both lovely cards Susie. Love the Spider-Man one
It's Sod's law, isn't it, that you would notice it after you had finished it!!!!
Good job you could rectify it ,without too much trouble.
I had to laugh at SM, I had a vision of her wrestling with a bread knife
trying to get it off the card

Thanks Ellie. Yes, scrapmate sounds like Jack Nicholson in The Shining! Or was it his wife who had the big sharp knife?

LOL! When we crafters get desperate... I needed a long straight blade and the bread knife was the only thing I could think of.

Elaine, your DIL will be pleased to get home, won't she?
I hope that she makes a good and speedy recovery. Is there anyone
to help her, apart from your son, and yourself?
Hope your cold get better. Our friend has had it since Christmas , and he's still not right.
    It keeps coming and going.!!!!
You will not have to give Miss Amber so many
kisses, hard to do I should imagine

Thanks Elaine, elegant was what I was hoping for actually. The paper underneath never even came away as most backing papers would and guess what it is wrapping paper. When I saw it I fell in love with it and bought a sheet of silver and gold. It is brilliant for virtually everything. I've die cut with it and even coloured it with marker pens so I now have blue sparkly paper. Since I'm in town today I will get some more in.

Glad to hear your DIL is coming home, how is she feeling? Is she going to have reconstruction, is that an option for her? You sound as if you need to boost your own immune system Elaine, becoming ill again so quickly after the last lot. I can tell you of something that worked for me when my immune system was as the doctor put it 'on the floor' and 'almost non-existent' I caught everything going despite not even leaving the house. Let me know if you're interested, some people don't take to alternative/natural remedies so I don't push it.

Won't get to the camera shop today because they'll be closed but there's no rush, still better get a move on, good job the shops in Liverpool One don't close until 8pm.

I've been playing with this background for the card by changing the colour. The top part was originally olive green but I wanted it in different colours, so I started off making it white. There is pink in there but this would probably have fitted better with last month's blues. Another poor photo because I've only just taken it and we are having a gloomy day here today.

I'll show you the original file, it also shows how much deeper the bottom colours are in real life. I have made a card with it in its original form, hubby didn't like the green but I thought it was lovely with a white sentiment. I just love this design, I think it is so versatile.

Ooh, I like both versions , Susie.
I like the green best, something a bit different.
Where did you find the design ? Just love those hearts.

I've made a card today, not sure about it, but it's too dark now
to take a photo . Will do it tomorrow.

Here you go..if this doesn't fit the colour scheme I don't know what does?
A box card made for my Mums birthday next month. As I should be moving before then I thought I'd better get myself organised.

And here it is from another angle.

Yes I'd love to know a 'remedy' Susie. I bought some Metatone to see if it would help but I'm yet to be brave enough to take it as I understand it tastes awful!

I love that anniversary card too..my favourite is the blue one. Good job we're all different!

DIL had immediate reconstruction so she already has a nice new pair of boobies. She's very lucky, her parents are nearby too..so she has a lot of support. She is home now and has three of the original four chest drains out. It's all going very well. She sees the oncologist on Monday to see what's next, fingers crossed!
