Lots of chat as ever ladies.
Great finished red card Ellie. I've never tried the brayering embossing folder but..I keep meaning to but I forget. Tomorrow I have to make a lot of cards as March is one of my busy months and I may give that a go.
I had statins prescribed when I had my mini stroke..I felt like I was wading through treacle all the the time! I had to stop as I couldn't cope with it. Then I was asked to takes aspirin to help..I took that for a few months but eventually gave those up too. Now I just 'hope' I never have another stroke! I have made a lot of lifestyle changes though so that should help.

That's lovely Frances. How did you do it?

SM, I tried inking the folder, with an ink pad, haven't got a brayer,
and it was much better, although still a bit messy.
I think I will try it on coloured card, and see if it's ok.

    Lovely card Frances.

Sorry I've been missing, stomach bug this time and it doesn't want to leave me!

I've no life style changes to make Elaine, which is a bit of a nuisance so aspirin it will be. It wouldn't be so bad if I'd been eating and drinking all the wrong things or smoking at least I'd have had the fun first! We are leaving the statins alone for now, the only thing I can increase is my Omega 3 and I'm going back on plant sterol capsules and if in 3 months I haven't got the cholesterol down a bit more I may give the statins a go. My doctor has said there are statins and statins, some more expensive than others and I'd bet most doctors would prescribe the cheap option first, although my GP said she wouldn't want to go on them as a first choice. I hope you have everything under control now, no more mini strokes please!

    Hi Susie,
Glad that your doctor has given you some advice. Now you can make more
    informed choices.
Sorry you have a stomach bug, hope you feel better soon.
I've also had stomach trouble these last Two days.
I've felt very bloated and had stomach ache.
It's a bit better today, but still sore and tender to the touch!
It might be these new antibiotics I started taking a few days ago!!!!
Hey- Ho, these things come to try us, don't they?
Hope you are on the mend now....

    Lovely card Frances
Susie and Ellie I hope you feel better soon.
I am having a major sort out of papers, all the stacks and piles of sheets that have been bought and then stuffed where they would fit and then forgotten ... Plus all the part sheets from various layouts. The dining table is covered with scrapbooking paper LOL.

    Thanks Wendy.
A dinning room table covered in scrapping papers, sounds great !
You could immerse yourself in paper.... if you hadn't got a job to do

Afternoon. I hope you ladies are feeling better now.
    Striking card Frances
Wendy..sounds like a big job to me. I've left some messages on your gorgeous cards on the other thread. I'm glad you reminded us about that one. I've added three cards over there including my Mums Mothers Day card which I'm really rather pleased with and a Diamond Wedding anniversary box card and a simple birthday card.
I've also made this card which I am going to give to MIL for Mothers Day.. She doesn't get a soppy one! Lol

You are probably right about the antibiotics Ellie, they can wreak havoc with your bowels. I think the high dose antibiotics they gave me for H. Pylori has left me with a weakened state, bowel wise. I'm on probiotics now. I was up every two and half hours through the night so it will be a sample for the doctor tomorrow. Certainly shouldn't have a problem getting that! Are you feeling any better now Ellie? I think mine now has really gone into a spectacularly bad case of IBS, I'm pretty sure any virus has long gone, but we'll see. As soon as I take Tramadol for back pain now the stomach pain subsides, another reason I think it is now IBS whatever it was to start with.

Wendy that is what I started doing a month ago, a dining room full of papers truly is heaven. I found great papers and still haven't used them. I must get back to my clearance out.

I can't finish my s-i-l's card for her son's wedding until she's seen it and decided which design she likes. I have a number of half finished cards still but I'm catching up on housework at present.

Elaine, that is a stunning card for your m-i-l and since she doesn't like soppy you've found a brilliant way to give a great card. I must pop over to the other thread to see what else you've been up to.

What a coincidence Elaine, I have also made a screen card recently, is that a Martha Stewart PATP punch you have used as a border? I love the colours.
I haven't blogged mine yet, was going to do a tutorial on the blog ... but that of course requires that I make another one and remember to take photos LOL. I'll post a pic on IMT.
