That is so sweet Chris, you'll have so much fun with your DGD. Our neighbours GD who is only 4 loves to craft and is encouraged a lot by her mum. I sent her crafty stash, things I had bought and when they turned up didn't look like anything I would ever use, they've been around for years, so they went to a new home. At Christmas I made her a Frozen card and received a beautiful painting in return. It is lovely to see mums and grandmothers encouraging little ones to craft isn't it!

Wow, that was quick Ellie, two lovely cards from the same die and each so different, well done! I really like the way you've cut the poor little bird out and put the sentiment there, it's really pretty and effective.

What a gorgeous card Wendy, I would love to see it close up, is that possible? I do love a deckle edge card, it just adds a little bit of daintiness, the flowers look very pretty.

That's an absolutely gorgeous card Wendy.
Love the background, and the flower stamp.
Is it one or two stamps, and did you hand colour it?
    It's lovely.
    Ellie.

Thanks Ellie. No end in sight yet I'm afraid although I've just returned from Mums and she is doing amazingly well.
DIL goes in for her double mastectomy on Monday so GD babysitting will be the next thing on the list. I shan't mind that though

Well I didn't think I was going to manage it, but I had time Sunday to get a card made for Niagara prompt, I threw in a little Island Paradise inspiration too.

Now to get my thinking head on for February's Pantone pick!

Good heavens Elaine, your family is truly going through it at present. I'll be thinking of your DIL on Monday. How long will she be in for, have they said?

Lovely card Nat, looking forward to the next colours!! Alison I love the little bags :-)
The stamp is one stamp from Chocolate Baroque, I stamped with Memento in (I think) Nautilus blue, then coloured the flowers with watercolour markers, mix of Stampin Up and Distress. The stitched oval die is from Crealies, they do a nesting set, also have circles, squares and rectangles in the stitched range.
Elaine, hope all goes smoothly over the next few days.

Oh Elaine your brave DIL. I do hope that all goes well for her.
It must be such a worry. Glad that you will have Miss Amber to keep
Your mind (and body, I suspect) occupied.
Glad that your mom is doing well.

Alison love those little bags with tulle in. They look so effective.

Wendy, thanks for answering our questions. The flowers are really nice,
    as is the whole card.

    Thanks Alison and Wendy.

Yep, it's all stamped with quite a few different shades - I added them all to my blog post, have to say a stamp positioner really is handy for not messing up! lol

Your card is lovely Alison, the different patterns and shades and the tissue paper - fab!

Such gorgeous cards Nat and Alison. I've left a comment on your blog Nat, and Alison, I love what you've done with the carrier bags and tissue paper, just so clever and super cute!
