    December Blog Bits and Blog-a-thon

    banner.JPG

Hello and Happy Christmas to all our Bloggers and Blog Bits readers!

    sutty.JPG

There are lots of lovely Christmassy projects in Blogland so let's start with this fab banner by sutty perfect for me to use up a pile of hessian I over-ordered earlier this year! While you are visiting sutty's blog scroll down to the next post for some really useful ideas for batch-making Christmas cards. Elainevking is celebrating her 300th blog post with a pile of super layouts to inspire us and CoventryAnn is also celebrating, this time it's the completion (nearly) of her kitchen refurbishment and she is getting back into crafting with preparations for her Christmas journal. I'm always on the lookout for ideas for using up bits and pieces of old stash and love Jimjams' use of labels to embellish her page. Looking for little, quick and easy, handmade Christmas gifts? Soojay's keyring calendars are just the job! Such pretty pink Christmas cards here by KraftyKaren. If you love penguins as much as I do then don't miss here be dragons' page featuring some at Berlin zoo. Disney fans need to check out LemonBlossom's unusual door wreath ... it all started with a mouse

These tissue box covers are also by LemonBlossom - aren't they a great idea? If you prefer to stick with paper (did you see what I did there?) then do watch SarahK's so very useful video on making custom sized boxes ... just brilliant! Have a look at the lovely idea for displaying Critmas cards and a framed layout shared by sponsors Hey Little Magpie and don't miss ATDML's daily Advent posts for some amazing festive ideas. There's a fabulous Christmas planner on December 1st and there's a really effective Twine Tree that's so easy to make with instructions on December 3rd.

To finish off this month's Blog Bits - a couple of sketch challenges for you; the first is to be found on MiniOwner's blog and the second is by LittleChubblies.

I have checked all the links but they do sometimes have a wobble when I copy them across to General Scrapping. Please PM me if you spot a broken link

Don't forget to claim your 20 bonus points if you make anything inspired by this month's Blog Bits.

    See you in 2017!!

Time is fast running away from me but I have had a little chance to play with some Chalk Ink markers.

Thanks for the link above Sue. I've posted my first JYC page today and the cover of the album.

I'm keeping up (almost) with my journal, and have scheduled my blog to post a page a day for the next couple of weeks.
