Exclamation 2016 Card Challenge - October

    Morning everyone!

I've just added this month's brand new prompts over on my blog, can't believe we're in the home stretch now!

I've listed some additional hints for how to interpret the prompts on your cards - you can find them here.

As always full info about this challenge can be found here in the January post.

Here are the images - hope you enjoy!

Here's one that is inspired by the bottom photo but I'm not sure it's going to be a Christmas card yet which is why I didn't use an overtly Christmas sentiment... I'm leaving my options open.

What a stunning card Elaine, I love it all. Which die did you use for the edging. I have quite a few edging dies and forget to use them? It really does lend itself to anything, a very versatile design.

I have something which has a circle/wreath effect in the centre although the colours won't match the prompt, but it does have embossing in it so I will post it later.

Lovely prompts Nat, I like the geometric, I'm sure I can do something with that.

Beautiful card Elaine, once again ,so proffesional.
    Wish I was so neat....
I made one today with a background of snowflakes, but I'm not sure
if it fits the brief. Will post later.

As I said, the colours don't match the prompt but we do have the circle and even a wreath from the Christmas card bit and embossing going on.

I'm definitely going to try and use the geometric design on a card though - just not this one!

Oh, that's lovely Susie, so delicate. Love those green ferny leaves.

This is mine. It's not the correct colour either, but it does have snowflakes.

Here's another one. Not the correct colour, but snowflakes again.
Not sure about it. It looks a bit flat!!!

Goodness me you're all off to a very good start!

    Loving these interpretations.

No crafting for me this weekend sadly - was out all day and evening yesterday and today I'm doing work-work... But soon hopefully!

Thanks Ellie, unfortunately my butterflies didn't quite end up where they were supposed to go. I had just put the glue on and was playing around positioning them when the phone went. Of course, by the time I got back to them they were stuck solid! Without fail my phone rings when I'm gluing, does anyone else find that?

Love your Christmas cards. The polar bear with the cub is super cute, did you stamp it or is it a digi image? Your other card doesn't look flat, you have various layers on there and your snowflakes look kind of 3D. Which make are the snowflakes? I have some IO ones which are nice but you have a few different designs in there which are lovely.

Hope you'll soon find time to get crafting Nat, you must be very busy.

    Thanks Susie.
The phone usually rings like that at our house as well
The white and silver snowflakes are Hobbycraft, I think, and
the blue three D one is made of thin corrugated card. I've had it for ages.
The polar bear is a topper from Lily of The Valley, again ,which I've
    had for a long time.

Some lovely cards..aren't we off to a good start?
I'm sorry I can't name the dies..I made it at a card class with the tutors dies.
I don't think your Card looks flat either Ellie. It looks great to me. I love your pink flower card too Susie. Really Elegant!
I have made two more Christmas cards but they don't really fit the theme but I'll have a look at them later and may decide to share them anyway.

Share them anyway Elaine, we can always find something in them to fit a prompt! Also, thanks for the lovely comment. Just as well you don't know the name of the dies,I have so many, I need to use the ones I've got!

That polar bear image is really adorable Ellie, I can't see it on their site. It's nice when you have a great image that you can get lots of use out of.

I'm just making a Christmas card and I'm trying my best to use a number of the prompts for a change, instead of just one or two. Mind you, it's not finished yet so it could all change.

You've got to laugh, I've just stuck a wreath together and unfortunately also stuck it to a piece of copy paper it was resting on!
