I've just added a link to a video (although I've not yet watched it) it's called Silhouette Cameo 3 Auto Blade cutting 5 different materials

Hi. Yes I did the firmware update and I've had a Tuesday morning session with Brian (Graphtec). After testing on an alternative PC I deleted the latest version of studio (3.8.88) and downloaded the version recommended by Brian - 3.8.64. I've installed this and the Cameo 3 is now running perfectly. Brian said that he had another customer this morning with exactly the same problem - it seems to be running a process and pausing it - the new software gets itself stuck in the pause phase. Anyway I'm now a happy chappy and will avoid any software updates until I am sure that they are glitch free .

Hi Ed Dawson, how do you delete the latest version of the software so you can install the 3.8.64. does this delete the whole program? I started to do this, but got a message that I have a newer version running & was unsure what to do, so I backed out of installing it. I hope you don't mind me asking.

I would be worried about losing my designer edition if I did that.

Just a quick post to let everyone know that I am keeping an eye on things, I am aware some users are having serious problems and I am working closely with Silhouette and their development team to help get these things resolved as quickly as possible. On the more positive note I am also receiving lots of good feedback from users who are are using their machines without issue, so it is nice to know some users are still having fun and the problems are not affecting everyone.

You just uninstall the existing software via Windows 'programs & features' as with other programs and then install the previous version, which is available on SA website under beta & legacy software.

I uninstall and reinstall very often, and never lose my licence so your designer edition licence should not be affected.
