Help Sliding Photos in Pocket Pages

Today I have at last got around to making up a pocket photo album. I bought an Anna Griffin Pocket Album kit from the shopping channel, but my photos are sliding out of their pockets when I turn the page. Is this a common problem, is there something I am not doing or is it a fault with the pages and should I just give in and buy a different brand? Really disappointed.

I think most pockets are slightly bigger to allow bulky bits to be added, if you wish. I first got round this problem by mounting the photos on cardstock that only just fitted the pockets. That seemed to work quite well. I have since bought a Fuse tool to seal the pockets enough to stop them falling out.

Thank you for your tip, I was wondering if that would be the solution. I just thought it odd that I had never read anyone else having the same problem, so thought it must be me.

It irritates the life out of me, too, so, no it isn't just you. You could also seal the pocket with washi tape but you might have to do both sides of the page. It may look a little odd, otherwise. I've also seen them closed with fancy paperclips and small dots of paper/card.

I do love my Fuse. So much so, I have just purchased some more tips. I don't buy pocket pp's anymore. I can make my own and have the pockets any size I want. It took a while to get the hang of, but that was user error. I didn't leave it long enough to get realy hot.

I'm glad I've spotted this thread as I've had exactly the same problems and used washi etc in the past then decided to use c/s for a tighter fit. I have to admit to having owned a fuse for several months now and I still haven't gotten around to using it **hangs head in shame**. I'm planning some catch up time on my documenting soon so I have made a promise to myself to use the Fuse!
