Some nice new features but I shan't be rushing to buy one either as I can do all I want with my trusty old Cameo and Curio.

Think the video showed it with a self adjusting blade, sets itself according to the material you select. Think I'll stick with my trusty model until I win the lottery!

That's what I saw as well, which makes me think the blades are going to be different to the ones we use now. I just hope they don't stop making the old ones and try to force us all into buying the new machine.

you can still use your old blades ladies and pens, pen holders etc

That's a relief. I only bought my Cameo 2 last year so won't be changing any time soon.

Thanks for that info Lisa, as long as they carry on making the old blades we will all be OK.

I only bought mine three weeks ago Diane, so needed to know they were still going to be making the older blades as otherwise it would have come as a very expensive ornament and I would not have been a happy bunny at all!
