Week twelve :: Scrap with needle and/or thread

Welcome to another week of Reboot fun ... with one of my favourite scrappy techniques:

WEEK TWELVE :: SCRAP WITH NEEDLE AND/OR THREAD!

I love to add texture to a page with a bit of machine stitching, but hand stitching is also quite therapeutic. This challenge could also be an opportunity to scrap a story about stitching. Maybe your mum or gran taught you to sew or you have something handmade that really deserves a page of its own. And of course no sewing is necessarily required ... you could do something as simple as tying some thread around a page element ... if in some way you can say your page involves a needle and/or some thread, then you are good to go!

Shimelle used pins as well as threads on a very stylish page:

Digi stitches appeared on PollyFlinders' wonderful page about a quilt (and no thread in her needle):

pilipala made the most amazing rainbow of stitches:

Upload your page to the SLYMI Reboot gallery, marking it for Week 12 (or Wk12 or #12, but please have a 12 in there somewhere).

I've just stitched on the LO I'm doing for my monthly challenge entry !
Will have to think up something else -I'm liking the idea of recording my mums cross stitching skills, will see what I can find.
    Thanks Jemma x
