So I made this earlier but I'm posting it for February to get the ball rolling. It has the turquoise colour, gems and I printed the background paper which I'd say is geometric.

Love it. Those meerkats are cute.
I'm in the middle of making one, but not satisfied with it yet.

Thanks Ellie, I am having so much fun with the meerkats.

Why aren't you happy with your card it is just lovely? You also have lots of the prompts in there which is something I find a bit challenging as we all know!

Thanks Susie. I just think it's a bit simple. I'd love to do something fancy
and intricate, but it just ends up looking a mess

It's by no means simple Ellie, obviously a lot of thought has gone into your card and I think the hardest part is meeting the requirements of the prompts, but then that's the challenge. I nearly always fail miserably.

I wasn't going to post this one here but it actually meets some of the prompts. Geometric background, dots, well they're the gems actually, but the pearls count as gems so hey ho! The inspirational quote is inside, you'll just have to trust me on this one and the embossing folder is a sort of horizontal stripe - or that pushing it a bit? Oh and there are a couple of hearts inside too.

Thanks for the lovely comments ladies, they're much appreciated. More birthday cards for this month so I'll see if I can use more of the prompts - maybe even without a Meerkat.

Really like the colour combo you used Ellie plus the big polka dots.

Susie, I specially like the christening card - so intricate and detailed!

Well I have made headway with my cards for this month, just need to do the Christmas version and hope for good light to photograph.
