Today I have blogged a card with no 'focal image'. No picture or topper. This is wayyyyyy out of my comfort zone

Layouts

BlogBits this month starts with this beautiful page by butterbee, reminding us that we did actually have some summer, albeit brief! If you have a pot of Gesso and not a clue what to do with it, take a look at this fab page by sutty and you'll be reaching for that pot. Elainevking has a couple of lovely baby pages welcoming the arrival of her new granddaughter and I really like the scatter of stars on KraftyKaren's Marillion Convention page. Sian has a lovely layout, based on a favourite kid's book. I am so glad I stumbled upon katielamb's blog, her scrapping is stunning. I love selfie pages and LelseyG has shared two great layouts. Don't forget to take a look at my monthly sketch challenge (MiniOwner) and littlechubblies has a new sketch each Sunday for you.

Cards

If you are making a card for a little girl you won't go far wrong with a Frozen theme; isn't this one by ScrapHappyNiki just delicious!? Susibee has a beautiful card on her blog that doubles as a lovely gift, as would a little pack of KraftyKaren's fabulous thank you cards. While you are in KraftyKaren's blog why not join in Beat the Christmas Rush? You'll be glad you did!

I think i need to join a UKS swap - just look at these amazing tags made for a swap by lemonblossom! MaryAnne is looking ahead to 2016, sharing a great tutorial on making a keyring calendar and you can see a fab one made by soojay on her blog. MaryAnne also has some really nice printable Project Life cads for us. If you are looking to document your travels this summer take a look at YorkshireLass' stunning travel journal. And finally, you will find inspiration, as always from ScribbleMonster's blog; she has a beautiful example of a mood board and a tutorial for making your own thicker alphas.

Finally back online

My ISP tells me a lot of people are experiencing issues due to loads of Windows people trying to update

Not sure if that is hand excuse or not LOL!
