Fantastic photos - I keep promising myself a charm bracelet I can add to. I had one as a young teenager (still do have it infact). It is wonderful to have the memories linked to it.

Love the shadow shot - how did you keep the dogs still?

Beautiful sunrise colours, well done and thank you for hosting

Nice photos Jayne, especially the shadows. Hope your mom is well on the mend.

Thanks for the comments ladies, just got back this evening, happy but shattered!!

Alison I actually stood under the roof and held my I -pad up above my head to take that photo.
And that's not easy when you are only 4ft and a peanut !!

Really like your swimming LO, all the blue tones really go well together.
and a great achievement for your boy, Furrypig.

I would love to say it took skill and ingenuity.... in reality it was a complete fluke!

    Onwards to September!

At least that makes me feel better - I have tried so hard to improve my photos and done some online courses but good shots seem down to pure luck!

I have a bridge camera with SOME ability to set aperture, focus etc but have admitted defeat and find I usually get much better pictures using it on auto

I think I need to concentrate on composition of the shot and forget 'camera settings', which is why I find this challenge so good

    Lovely photos Jayne
Haha Louise, I'm the same. I have upgraded from my bridge to a Sony A7, which is not quite a DSLR but I still use auto most of the time !
