I don't know the correct name for this sort of design so I've called it an upstand. I've been fiddling around with this for ages and I'm reasonably happy with the way it looks (and cuts) now. I have cut it in Centura Pearl 300 gsm card. I put the card through my printer first so it is a very light mauve colour which probably does not show up so well on the photo. Makes a 5 x 5.75 card when finished. Although I am happy enough with the card I have made a couple of little adjustments to the template since cutting it, mainly to join some of the swirls to the flowers to give it a bit of support. I was quite pleased with the curved border also. I am working on a couple of Christmas upstand designs and will post them when completed.
