    The Q&A Thread

Let me give you a little advance warning: I cannot be online every day throughout this course. I'll be online most of the time, but I really want to make sure I don't miss anything. So this thread has a special purpose: if you have a question for me, post it here and I will answer it here. But that's all this thread is for: no other discussion, no other answers please - just a one-stop-shop for your questions to me and my answers to those! All posts that are not that will be moved or deleted to keep this one thread nice and streamlined. Thanks!

I definitely want you to discuss things amongst yourselves!! Please join in discussions on the daily threads and definitely talk over anything that you like. You're welcome to post a question both here and on a discussion thread if you'd like both my answer and an answer from other UKS members.

I hope that makes sense, and I thank you so much for your interest in Break it Down!

    Happy scrapping!

Not a question, just wanted to say thank you for offering this class that finally got me to join UKS (I've looked a couple of times.) There is a real wealth on these boards. I hope to try more of the challenges!

I am a bit stumped on this week's conversation prompt. Do you envision a true "two-way" conversation, with journaling looking something like, Mom said,"you are a brave boy." Son said, "well thanks, mom." OR can it be more like a letter, a conversation that could be had? "I hope you will grow into... and be a ...." Thanks for any direction you can give!

I found photos of some Skype sessions with our youngest son, so my layout will be about a conversation and some of the things that I want to remember about it.

This week should be an actual conversation that has happened, not a letter or a one-sided conversation or something entirely unsaid.

There is room for interpreting a conversation as something other than words spoken between two or more people: it could also be something discussed through the written word, like an exchange of text messages or emails, or a conversation in the comments of a Facebook status update, etc. But it should be things that were said in one way or another. If you can't remember them word for word, just do your best like you would if you were telling someone else over coffee.

    Hope that helps.

Miss Shimelle! (holding up my hand in the air like a good student. ) I think you've jumped ahead a week in the title of the PDF: ...BreakItDown_WeekFour_16.pdf?

Although I'm not Shimelle, but an accountant:
    Mrs Shimelle counted right
    it was
    week 1: 1-6
    week 2: 7-12
    week 3: 13-18

time rushes away! And I'm behind. perhaps I can catch up tomorrow with two weeks.

The counting is right it's just the week. But it's not a big deal we get it anyway. :-)

'PDF: ...BreakItDown_WeekFour_16.pdf' Yes but the PDF does refer to Week Four we're still only on Week Three

Sorry, forgive me - just an oversight when I was arranging the different prompts into their prospective weeks and days. The file is right - I just messed up the filename. Everything in the PDF is what is meant for that day and this week. Sorry!

The confusion has started... I know it was here, but it isn't now? What's going on??!

Could you please rename this week's thread titles for tuesday and wednesday from Week four... to Week five....

I can't rename or delete threads, so I have copied the information over to new threads with the correct week five in the title. It does mean there are duplicates that still say week four - unfortunately I don't have any way to delete those. I'm sorry for the confusion.

Shimelle: better at scrapbooking than counting to five. Sigh.
