So many ideas, so little time ....
Sad news - PaperArts shop is closing...
Sad to hear that the lovely Sue at PaperArts in Stroud has taken the decision to close ......
The shop has been a UKS sponsor for ages and as well as selling me loads of fab stash over the years, through the classes and workshops they've run I have met some lovely, lovely people ....
They are selling off some stock so you've still time to support them if you've a mind to do so ..... thye sell on line and will be glad to boost your stash supply, I'm sure!
THANK YOU, PAPERARTS - ESPESH SUE AND AND IRENE ..... X

I wish I was.....in Austria
Oh how sad, I have bought from them a few times and have always been really happy with the service they have given, I wish Sue all the very best for the future.

RIP Luc, forever a Canuck
it's a real pity, they have been a fixture of my local "scene" for many years - and even though I haven't scrapbooked as such for a long time I still used to pop in whenever I was passing to or from Stroud and usually found something to spend my pennies on
A few of my pals used to go to crops there regularly and I know they will be very sad, as PaperArts was a social hub as much as it was a shop

Life is a minestrone
Oh no!!! One of my fav local(ish) shops that I've attended crops and spent lots of money with over the years....how sad! Do you know if the shop will be open Saturday Mole..........I may pop along to say goodbye.

Oh no! A lovely shop - have been there many times and been to a few crops. Such a shame - is anyone likely to take it over?

Oh that's such a shame. I've been there a few times and even made it to a crop once even though Stroud is a fair way from me. Off to check out the website.

Lost among the Land Rovers
Such a shame.
I've only been there twice, the last time last month on my birthday, but found it such a nice place to go.

It is a shame i only discovered them on line last year and it's a great shop. I know some ladies who go to a lot of classes there and didn't they do their first retreat last year

So many ideas, so little time ....
Think the shop is going to open for the last time on May 11 - but check the website for chapter and verse.
I popped in on Saturday and bought a few (more!!!) things in the 50% off sale.
I'm really going to miss them. There's no substitute for seeing stash in real life ....

So many ideas, so little time ....
Hi Wendy
I don't think Sue has had a second to update the website. On Facebook, she says that all stock is half price and that the discount will be applied only once the good are actually packed up and the 'invoice' issued (a lot of stuff shows up as being available on line but if it gets sold in real life in the meantime the stock levels might not show this). I think the on-line stock levels are probably quite out of date after all the Saturday shopping!!!!!
So I'm sure all will be fine if there are things you want to order .....

"Dear All - Just to let you know our last day for shop opening will be May 11th. We are extending an open invite to everyone who would like to come and say farewell on that day - there will be cake & coffee.
Also the shop opening hours for the next few weeks are 24th/25th/26th/27th/28th April. Sat 4th & Sun 5th and Saturday 11th. This Saturday 27th is open for an all day crop - for anyone that would like to craft away.
We still have lots of lovely stock and with 50% there are so many bargains to be had."
Just seen this on Facebook!

So many crafts, so little time
I know Rachel has been ill and undergoing chemotherapy. Always sad when a B&M shop has to close its doors.
Is anyone else booked for the retreat in September? Hopefully they will still be able to go ahead with it?
