    Received cards mini album?

A friend wants to make a mini album or generally scrap cards he received when he retired. Has anyone got any examples they'd like to share? I'll be taking all the kit down with me when I go so I need to pack in advance

    Thanks!

Do have a Bind-it-all or other binding machine? You could add covers and bind all the cards inside.
Or, you could expand on the above, but stick the back cover of each card to cardstock - possibly more durable and it would allow you to decorate/write on the cardstock as lng as it's bigger than the card.

I don't know how creative you want to be but paper chase do an 8 x 8 kraft album for not much which you could embellish and stick the cards in. That way he would still be able to open them all and read the gods wishes messages again. I use these for newspaper clippingsanx for keeping copies of all the announcements, thank you s etc I have made and sent.

Its so kind of you to help him....I wish someone would come and complete some of my projects for me lol!

I found these last night - I think they're great! They're quite informal but perhaps you could make a grander version in some way...

How about this? I pinned this mini album a while ago and was thinking of doing something with my wedding cards... it's at the bottom of a long list of project tho.

What a lovely idea Wizbit...I think I may use it for my ds's baby cards. I doubt if would take more than a couple of hours to make each one. TFS

Oh wow, that's perfect. Going to get my wedding cards (and the kids' new baby cards) out of the loft and redo them (currently glued in an album that doesn't shut as it's too full, so they just look nasty). Thanks for posting that.

I'm liking that idea. As has already been said, great for wedding and baby cards. All mine are in boxes but I may make a few of these instead

I only wanted to save the front of my cards (having already used/saved the verses elsewhere). So I've put a special photo on the backside of the card with a caption. Currently I have my "work in progress" hanging on a peg in front of my desk, so that I can flip through it for when smiles are needed!!

Yes, the result so far looks like one of these mini-albumns

Thanks people these were really helpful. We got most of the album done at the weekend, but he couldn't print out the pics so they'll go in later but all the pages and cards are done. It felt great to do some scrapping again it's been so long!
