    Watercolour card blanks

My mums art group want to paint there own Christmas cards this year and would like to know where they can buy watercolour card that is already creased into a card and come with envelopes. Does anyone know where they might purchase them from. I have no idea as i don’t do watercolours.

Could you not crease the correct type of card for them or show them how - it's not rocket science is it. (how many hundred do they want though!) and buy the right sized envelopes to go with them. Would probably be much cheaper than buying 'specialist' sets.

It is possible to get them premade so you don't have to fuss with cutting them straight and folding them neatly. I have seen you can purchase 6x4 watercolour postcards and perhaps they could simply mount them on standard 6x4 card blanks which could be cheaper. Otherwise a local Art Supplies company may be able to order the variety they want in bulk for them rather than buying separate packs of 10, etc. Strathmore (a US company) do bulk options of their water colour card blanks - so perhaps a UK supplier that Art Supply shops use will do the same?

Thank you everyone i have decided to buy the watercolour card and crease and fold them for them. I tried a piece of 300gsm water colour card last night and it did crease and fold ok. I was a bit scared to try it as i only normally crease and fold 250gsm plain card. I was not sure if going up higher would crack the card but it went ok so i will purchase some and do it for them
