Getting Ready :: Two Tutorials for December!

Thank you so much for bearing with me through November, which proved a greater challenge than I dared to admit at first! I am happy to be on a much healthier tact now for December and will have two tutorials to share with you this month! I hope you enjoy, and perhaps in the downtime after Christmas you will have a little time to craft just for you.

So two lists of things you'll need!

    PROJECT ONE:
*a selection of up to six scenery photos, printed as 4x6 landscapes. Imperfect photos work just fine as we will be doing some cropping, so your favourite poster-like images are best saved for something else.
*12x12 cardstock in a neutral colour for the background.
*three patterns you like - at least 8x12 of each, but a full sheet gives you the most flexibility with the pattern. Pick one that is more obvious (I'm using a map print) and two that are smaller repeating patterns (chevrons, dots, scrolls, etc).
*one set of letter stamps, one set of small letter stickers. (small stickers could be replaced with a smaller set of stamps if you prefer, but will take a bit more effort)
*a shaped element you like - perhaps cut with a Silhouette/Cricut/Robo/etc or a manual die-cutter or cut with scissors/craft knife or purchased that way as an embellishment!
*gems or enamel dots or brads. can be replaced with ink splatters if you dislike the bling.

    PROJECT TWO:
*twelve photos - ideally one per month for this year, but you could use any twelve you like really. Print or crop these to a square, 2x2 inches or ever so slightly smaller. (I print at 1.8x1.8 on my home printer to get the most from the 4x6 paper while still having a tiny bit of white margin.)
*one 12x12 patterned paper with a subtle pattern for your background.
*scraps of twelve other papers - anything about 4x4ish or bigger will be fine (and smaller at a pinch will do).
*three 12" lengths of ribbon, washi tape or twine. Can be all the same or three different colours/patterns. Avoid anything extra wide - standard tape width or smaller is great.
*the punch or shape die you have used the most this year.
*two alphabets - one large, one small. The large one needs numbers ideally!
    *needle & thread

Thank you so much and I look forward to seeing you on the 20th with two tutorials!!

So excited to see what's in store for us! Will hopefully be able to get some supplies together and have a crafty evening over christmas whilst the normal repeats are on!
