    Mary, I often swap the tops of the bottles round when that happens, or I use a top from a water spray bottle and just spray the mist onto kitchen paper till the colour comes true. HTH.

    Oooohhh love this. I don't really have any inks tho just a black and a brown mister huey. Might be able to do something with distress ink pads n water tho. Can't wait to have a play Thanks for such a fab class

    I don't have any mists or shimmer paints so can't take part but looking forward to looking at other peoples Layouts.

    You can water down some ordinary acrylic paints and.Flick from the end of a paintbrush

    Here's my adaptation of the class - a recent visit to Bosworth Battlefield ... I felt that pennants were more fitting with the pictures/theme than scallops!

    (apologies for poor photo - light isn't great in here in an evening!

    Definitely you can use ordinary paint - I did!

    Ahh ok, thank you for that. I have some Acrylic Paint downstairs so may give this a go at some point

    Hmm, when I first saw this I wasn't too sure, but having seen Woozle's version and having thought about it for a while, I'm having second thoughts and may well give it a go!

    I think it was the scallops putting me off - but OMG *lightbulb moment* I've just been hit with an idea - off to hunt photos...
