    Problem with a die.....

Im struggling with a certain doilie type die (can I say cheery lynn?) Ive done the folded card as a shim, bought the metal shim plate but still its not cutting properly. Im using a big shot.

Anyone had success and can tell me what "sandwich" they used?

Out of interest which doily is it? I have a CB not a big shot but sometimes have problems with a large doily die from MFT that is the larger version of the Cheery Lynn equivalent and usually have to use scotch magic tape to hold my paper to the die and cut it in three rotations through my bug.

For other problem dies I have found that using funky foam creates clean cuts - I have the die followed by the card I want to cut into followed by the funky foam then usual cutting plates. Other people swear by wax paper/parchment paper....
