    Printer advice needed

    Hi everyone

I need to buy a new inkjet printer and want one that will print on card (especially hammered card).

Does anyone have any recommendations please?

I already have an Epson SX235W all-in-one, which does have the all important top load for feeding paper/card straight through, but it totally objects to anything heavier than 90 gram paper

I also have an Epson PX720WD for printing my CDs on mostly but that has a bottom feed paper tray (the type where the paper has to roll itself round the printer and come back out over the same paper tray). No hope of getting card through that.

I bought the SX235W thinking the straight through paper feed would solve my problem! Rather than buy another printer I thought I had better take some advice.

This has come about because my old Epson D92 died - that took paper/card/ vellum - and anything I threw at it really.

    Any advice very gratefully received.

I have an Epson Stlus SX218 - top loading - does everything - card, paper, vellum, silver film, acetate even parchment.

I have an HP OfficeJet 6000, Canon IX4000 (A3) and an HP LaserJet all of which print onto anything I throw at it.

Thank you all so much - some food for thought! Now which to choose.

I wish there was a 'thanks' button so I could thank each of you for taking the time to respond with advice.
