Oh...what a shame that you aren't able to get hold of those photos MaryAnne. What is it that some family members hang on to photos that have other family members in and not let them get to have even a copy! Same with my sister. When my dad died 22 years ago, 2 of them went through his belongings and had all of the photos! It was a good thing that just before he died, he did give me some 'slides' of me that he had. I know my sisters have photos of me that really ought to be with ME!

When my mother in law died a few years ago, my brother in law decided to go through some old photos of hers and father in law's. There was a photo of my inlaws in their old flat with fil playing the piano and a couple of guys alongside. On closer inspection, my bil noticed that one of the guys looked familiar!!! It was Ronnie Kray! Apparently, my fil told us that RK had helped him carry the piano from his flat to where the party was! That was before RK was behind bars.
