I'm just getting into this and am already completely HOOKED (my first effort is on my blog here . My inspiration was Kate Crane from The Kathryn Wheel, but I'd love to be in touch with other people exploring this too - am thinking of booking on a workshop in October run by Artist Trading Post. I also understand there's a magazine - is it from Stampington - and would be keen to buy a couple of back issues, just to see if I like it.

You're definitely an influence on some of the work I've seen in the AJ gallery Rosie, and I love reading your blog - although, linking back to your earlier musings on comments... I feel you have a great perspective and openess in your pages, although with so much personal content I always felt that commenting on them wouldn't be appropriate, and that it was more of a way for you to communicate your feelings to us than vice-versa. Also, I don't think I'm anywhere near proficient enough to comment on your work! But I'll be a shade braver in future x

Right ladies, I've been asked several time about Golden Fluid Acrylics.... I have them, and most of them are now online.

    Golden Fluid Acrylics are here

Golden Iridescent Fuild Acrylics are here

Golden Mediums & Grounds are here.

I still have the the rest of the historic colours to add, Interference colours and we have some starter sets, but we do have them all so please do feel free to drop me a line if you can't wait for them.

I really appreciate all the inspiration I find on this thread and Vicki is a temptress with those paints. Looking forward to using the Iridescent paints especially after seeing all the golds, silver and copper in Klimp's paintings in Vienna last week!
Been busy catching up on the Art Journey this week and will posting the final pages in my gallery today.

Well done to you lucky winners ...... it's been a great journey Leanie (even if I am still playing catch up )

I have a quick question.... I am doing a cj at the mo and what to use the title in the centre of the page and journal in a spiral around the title, Do I start close to the word and work out or from the edge and work in??

Ooh, as long as you practice first so it fits, I'd say it would depend on what you want to be the focus. If it were me, and I wanted people to concentrate on the title, I'd start in the middle- but if I wanted to give more impetus to the words, I'd start at the outside so they only say the title last (I mean I know they'd see it anyway, but it'd be an 'answer' rather than a starting point iykwim)
Does that help any? Possibly not

At least now the thread is back. i've put some more pages on the blog - just had a session of uploading.

I suppose it's holiday season. I had a couple of weeks away and then had to catch up on the circle journal.

    What's everyone else up to?
