What Software Best
I love Lucille's background papers and although I have followed the tutorial on how to design them, can never get them as good, just wondering what other people use to design background papers, I use 20/20. Linda

I've got 20/20 but can't get it to install it on my W7 computer so I use Paint Shop pro.
OOPs just tried to install it again and voila it's done it, no it hasn't LOL

You can use MCS but there isn't as much choice of what you can do compared to PSP

More often than not I use 20/20 to make the tile, then I use PSP8 to make the papers.

Hi Linda, I'm new to the site, & I use MCS & also have Coral Paintshop Photo Pro, but what's the 20/20 you all mentioned? Carole

I fond PSP8 does what I need a program like that for which is only repairing old photos and making the odd paper, I think I paid £30 for it about 4-5 years ago, it might even be cheaper than that now.

I installed the one I downloaded about five years ago (or so I thought) this morning but it just kept saying 20/20 has stopped working. I looked for it on the net this morning to see if there was a later version but I couldn't find it at all Lucille. Maybe it's my computer that's the problem, it's W7 64bit

I'm running Win 7 64 bit and it installed and worked fine, so I can't see that's the problem.

It must be my software that's got a problem then

You could use CCleaner to remove it, then check the folder has gone and run the registry cleaner, then download it again and reinstall.

Just found it here if anyone wants to try it, I've installed it but it must be conflicting with one of my (many) other programmes because I get the message below. I think I'll stick with PSP.

I did have a look this morning but couldn't find anything so I just uninstalled it. i haven't used it since I got W7 nearly 2 years ago and had forgotten that I had the programme saved on a usb pendrive (till you mentioned you'd used it the other day) so I won't miss it
