Distress markers... Worth investing in??

Just wondering what you all think of these, how often you use them, and what you use them for.
Want to get some but trying to convince myself I need them rather than want them....
Are they really useful or another regretful buy?

Seda I bought one just to try out and was disappointed but then I was pointed in the direction of this video which explains how to use them so I was not using it correctly, I hadn't researched them and was expecting something like a promarker.

I hardly ever need what I buy, just always WANT it!! A lot of it stays unused but I know I'll proabably use it one day!

Ive had a play with the new distress markers and think they are fab, only prob is getting hold of them at the moment.
