!!!!!!! OMG what have I done

I had a right senior moment just now and sent something to cut as a test, was sitting here offering the CS with media loaded to the machine, so far so good, then instead of clicking the load button on the Cameo, I clicked send to cut OMG!.

Sitting here horrified but curious it actually loaded the CS and went to the right spot on the media and cut the test.

Just wondered if I was lucky or has anyone else found this happens?

Thanks I'm just about to cut a 12 x 12 overlay, first one on this machine so no I don't want to try it again.

I have done it a couple of times but quickly hit the off button on the machine, so I have no idea what might happen if I didn't and don't want to find out either..... lol

I don't think it matters, I was just relieved it didn't smash the blade and or wreck the cutting strip, perhaps the programmers allowed for senior moments

Just thought if anyone is curious and wants to know you can always try it using a pen or nothing and watch it go through the motions, but that doesn't tell you as much as using a pen would.

I keep getting caught out by the shortened sequence for cutting in the latest version of Studio. I'm so used to having a second chance to change my mind!!

I did this yesterday and it went off and cut on its own , with nothing loaded.

Didnt hurt machine but cut in the wrong place . If that makes sense x

I'm confused, easily done, you say "nothing loaded" then "cut in the wrong place" did it take the carrier into the machine or not?

Pleased to hear no damage was caused.

Sorry, was distracted. It took the carrier to the machine and cut in the wrong place .

By cut in wrong place there was nothing on carrier but marked the carrier, if card had been on the carrier it would have cut at different place to it was set.

No need to apologise, posting can be daunting at first, I often have to go back and amend what I say so don't worry about it.

At least taking the CS in saved the blade and the cutting strip, that's the main thing.

I did this first day using cameo but it cut the carrier sheet right through so had to buy a new one first day!!!!!!!
