    Love the stuff.
I love it too, just wish it came in giant pots.

I have just uploaded my layers page to the gallery if you want a peek.

Looking forward to this week now, I have never use a transfer technique.

Strange coincidence with latest prompt. I just spent Sunday trying to work out how to transfer images and blogged about it looking for help. Looking forward to Wednesday's prompt.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and make a promise that if you follow Wednesday's instructions to the letter, you'll all have successful image transfers

I hope I don't end up having to eat my words!

Can someone tell me what the Claudine Helmuth gel medium smells like? I'm hyper-sensitive to odours and found I couldn't use Golden gel medium because the smell made me sick. I'm wondering if a different brand might be better?

It's so annoying not being able to use gel medium, because there's no alternative that is multi-functional in the same way.

There is very little odour Claudia.
I am hypersensitive to smells and could not smell it until I got really close to the pot and even then on a faint smell similar to acrylic paint.
Just stuck my nose in a half empty pot.
I use loads of it on everything!!!!!

The other potential plus point to the claudine stuff is that you can buy it in a little squeeze bottle (like a stickles bottle) so you only need to squeeze out the little bit you need rather than having a whole tub of the stuff open, that might help reduce the smell?

Yes it works, stop tempting me!

Lovely colours Shirley June, my brights always seem brash, but they're good.

Well done lacemaker, I see you adapted it to a double page spread - and you got a new book...?

Just printed off the PDF, this looks like a lot of fun. I have a tub of some kind of medium but I dont think its a gel one, think it says matt medium or something - would that work?

hi Suzy - yes that's still the same stuff, although some matte medium is very runny, like milk, and I tend to find that a heavier body medium (texture like a thick yoghurt) is easier to use for image transfers.

Best way to find out is to give it a go
