Those Union Jack pages are great!

Where is the shop please? We are going to London in a few weeks and I'd like to see it.

You're all producing some really inspired work - I hope this journey is proving to be as much fun as you'd hoped.
What other things would you all like to see?
I may drop a hint or two if something you mention is on the list

Well DD wants to do Natural History AGAIN, and I can hardly resist. She likes the Darwin wing with all the bits in jars! I would like to do V&A, as haven't been there since I was a child. I also fancy Horniman's Museum which we haven't been to before. And hoping to lose DH and DS and have a couple of hours in Harrods. And Covent Garden. And on the way home (the whole point of the trip really) we are going to the Harry Potter studio tour, which I am totally excited about!!

Leanie I am REALLY enjoying the AJ series. Even if you're already a bit of a journaller it's good to get a reminder on techniques to use and the prompts can be really inspiring. Much better than a blank page to get started on.
I would love to see something with Pan Pastels as I bought some a while ago but haven't really got much use from them. Thanks.

I have been working on mine too.
Having to leave it sitting there for a while as I don't quite know how to finish it off, hoping for inspiration some point soon.

I have not used brusho markers Lacemaker but almost anything goes I think.
I am sure there will be someone along who can help you.

Lacemaker - You can use whatever you like. Depends which product you have as to how you use it though. Do you have dry, liquid or sprays? Pop here and you'll fins info on how to use the various forms.

I'm off on my jollies now for a few days so I look forward to seeing what you've all been up to when I get back! Not sure if I'll be online at all while we're away. The plan is not, but the lure may be too strong to resist.

    Monday list, 20 Feb

Just looked at today's list. Any comments on gel meduim please? And where to buy. Local Hobbycraft no clue! Even when I looked couldn't see what I thought it'd be. I've seen it suggested in several projects recently. Thanks.

I bought my first pot (Claudine Helmuth's matte one) from someone selling it on marketplace, as didn't want to fork out on something new.
WOuld happily stockpile it now - I use it for everything, from the transfers, to sticking paper down, collage, adding beads to it (thanks Vicki for that tip!), sealing work, covering and sealing recovered books.
    Love the stuff.

You can make your own version though - like a homemade modge podge, with half PVA and half water shaken well in an old jar x

It is in my local hobbycraft over by the paints and other art rather than craft materials. W h smith also sell it in their art materials dept and also any art shop will have it.

Not sure how the home made version would work for transfer techniques....although it would be worth a try I guess?
