    Washi tape....where to start

I would like to get some washi tape, but there is soooo much variety so I am not sure what the best place to start is. Should I get a mix pack, or get a few with basic patterns in primary colours to go with particular paper sets I have...or just go for what I like? Any ideas ?

I just bought a few that I thought would be useful, happy birthday, musical notes, plain colours and a couple of strips!

Why not just buy white-and then you can colour or stamp it to suit.

now that is an idea...and means I can justify my desire for a chevron stamp LOL .
