    Fans, Parasols and Masks

I have one I finished last week, but I can't figure out how to post it here.HeartFanBlade_eej.GSD

Okay, I did manage to figure it out. Here is the plain version and then what I added to it because it looked "too plain". Hope you can use it. I've only had my wishblade about a month and this is about the 4th thing I traced. It cuts out well, although I think a little noisy because of the tiny cuts.

    Parasol

I made this before christmas but had had time to cut it.

someone emailed yesterday to ask me to post mine.

so ive cut it this morning and made a card with it so you can see what it looks like.

now i made mine from an 8 sided shape folded it in half once cut and just folded it backwards and forwards like a paper fan.

you could just use half of it, but i prefer it thicker.

Ive edge mine with some 1inc white lace ive had in a draw for about 2yrs and never knew what to do with it, the dodble thickness helps with this as you can slide the lace inside so its all neat.

my stick is a cocktail stick coloured with permanent marker pens and the pink heart is one of hannah's threading beads, then i just added the small ribbon bow.

    simple but i looks ok.

    Fan-blades

I have done these by request. Hope you like them.
If you dont want all the holes, just ungroup and delete.
Cut five blades and put them together with a brad or what ever you want.
If you use an eyelet to assemble them you probably have to increase the bottom hole.

    Fans, Masks and Parasols

One of the ideas I was playing with for Mother's day. Would be nice for a birthday or possibly Valentine as well.

Designed in KNK Studio. Cut from 120gsm gold metallic paper. The ribbon is from a previous post. Flower punched from coffee filter paper and painted with H2O's.

    Hope someone can use it.

    Box for Parasols

As nobody seemed to have a box for the lovely Parasols on site, I thought I would try to make one myself.

So here is my parasol box design. The base with the wings is the inner base which needs a tiny hole in the centre for the Parasol point to sit in.

Hope you Ladies like it, will put a piccy up later, as I have cut it, just need to stick it together.

I wonder if one of you kind ladies can help with putting the copyright and name of file on the template. I tried and it wanted to cut it out ?

Have added piccy now, the actual file needs a couple of minor adjustments, but will have to wait a couple of days now as I have already spent too much time on computer and my neck is now suffering

Hi Ladies I have done the retouching of the box, so now should fit together properley.

    Fan Shaped Overlays

After seeing Tina's fan and the Glitter Girls, I had to have a go at one of these, so here's my first attempt. For the screen shot I use Ruthan's lovely metallic paper which I thought would look best printed on photo paper to bring out the metallic look, you can download it here the file has 2 layers and there is a card stand template in the Misc' card section to make a stand for it.

I also think this would make a nice overlay to put behind a photo on a layout at least that is what I'm going to use it for.
