We just saw the news last night with all the snow in your part of the world. Extraordinary. Our western areas are getting washed away with metres and metres of water. Sure is funny weather.

Since we're going all international now here near the south west coast of France I have just woken up to about 3 inches and it's still falling. Since snow is pretty uncommon here that means there will be no school tomorrow for the kids and a lot of the shops will be closed. Looks like I will have to stay in and get crafting for some of my swaps (shame ).

We have now got snow:0(((( about four to five inchs. I hope it goes away quickly.
My daughter lives in the south of France, between Nice and Aix-en-Provence, and they had snow last Wednesday, the first time my 2 and a half year old grandson has seen snow there.

We've got 4 inches in Whitstable (on the north coast of east Kent) -- I measured it with my ruler!! And it's still coming down, though only lightly.

Just been out to take a picture of my street (having finally found my camera). Looks lovely but the roads are treacherous and they never grit us up here.

hubby said the main roads are perfectly clear here - and it is now melting quite quickly - HOPE above all hope, that it clears by tomorrow - I really really hate the stuff.

We've just had a great morning sledging on some slopes near us that we have only just discovered. It was busy and great fun. We walked but people had driven and the roads were clear

Flaming snow ! Had to cancel our crop as there was a lot of snow this morning. Now it is melting and we would have probably been ok. I'm glad the children have been able to enjoy the snow but I don't like it.

We've loved being able to sledge - infact DH and both sons are out again before it melts (which it seems to be doing even though it is only 2 or 3 degrees C out there). I love the snow (as long as I don't need to make a long journey!) at the weekend or in the hols but as a teacher I dread the resulting 'snow' - or should that be ice and grit - balls that always result in tears/fall outs and worse (if it hits me!).
