anchoring photos, memorabilia, and as you say stripes on LOs. also lay down lots of lines to make striped pattern paper background etc.and you can write on it ~ use as journal strips

Not sure if this is your thing, but I love the paper tape used to bind together and unite configuration boxes to make a shadow box.

There are some lovely examples there
I wonder how you get the twine to stick to the paper like the wavy pattern layout?
the queen and company blog is here just in case they have some other layouts not featured above.
I love the little flag ideas too!
I have also seen them used to decorate glass and plastic bottles! that looks lovely!
we are hoping to get the Queen and Company tapes in soon

I've used washi tape on a layout here

To get bakers twine to stick where I want it, I usually draw the pattern in pencil first, then add a really thin line of wet glue (either glossy accents or zip dry paper glue). Let the glue dry slightly so it's tacky, then press the bakers twine onto it. It's not quick to do and does take patience (which is why I don't do it very often lol) but looks pretty good when it's done

Just had a little peak at your blog Jules...love your art journal page and layout. Tried to leave a comment but not sure if it's gone through...hopefully it just needs moderating
