    tudor rose paper piece

so if you are celebrating the jubilee and want to decorate here is a starter, or good for a LO after, how about adding a pin and make a badge.

    Check out "My Paper Roses"!!!

I am on a "paper roses kick" y'all!!! I've been playing with them since last weekend!!! My rose is a little more complex with a good bit of paper "sculpting" but it really kinda looks like a rose! For the largest one I used Bazzill smooth white cardstock and for the smaller one (which I brushed some yellow pigment ink in the centers with a stencil brush) I used Colorbok Textured White Cardstock from Walmart. I'm also going to try one just using 24 LB. white copy paper and some other thinner cardstock that I have in my stash. In the file there is a link to a YouTube video that I got my inspiration from and she shows you how to make them! Give it a go and just put your own "spin" on it!!!

    Enjoy!!!

    interlocking flower

its been a while since I have had time to do anything but here is a simple interlocking flower I designed to go on a mother's day card.

Extra instructions added: After you cut both shapes out, put one on top of the other and slightly turn the top one clockwise to offset the petals.
