I can sometimes find it hard to get creative without having a specific idea in mind so this year my New Year's resolution is to create more (and blog more) so I have started

    52 Cards Challenge

Each Monday i will post 3 prompts and invite you to create a card/tag/project based on that prompt. This is more of a challenge to help others like me that would like to create more but get a bit stuck on where to start. I won't be offering prizes every week, but I do have my 100th blog post coming up and do have a goody bag ready for a challenge for that week!

I'd love it if you would join me, it will be great to see how others interpret the prompts! Don't be shy as this is just for fun!

    Hope you'll join in

Wow, I'm on a bit of a roll here. To be honest I started playing around with this card yesterday, I love the background paper, so yet again we have a Thinking Of You card when I should be making birthday cards! Only met the layers prompt but if I have some more time I might try and make another.

Thanks for the kind words Trish. Just wish I'd stuck Happy Birthday on it instead.

Thanks Nat, I'm trying to get around to using my MS punches but I seem to be sticking to certain favourites.

Loved your Christmas card. How's the new book coming along?

Both lovely cards ladies and interesting to see two completely different interpretations of 'holiday'.

I love how Phil has gone for a nice sunny look to escape the winter blues. Great card.

Trish, sigh, you are totally rocking the WMS sets! Love that tree paper too.

Susie, which book, do you mean the latest Eve Dallas one? If so, read it non-stop the evening I started it... fab. Then went back and re-read the end as I was a bit lacking in brain power at 2 a.m. when I finished it the first time round.

lol, I definitely wanted to read it in one go as I wasn't going to have any free time until after the weekend, and well... I couldn't wait that long to read it! If it's a good book, I'd rather lose sleep than put it down and pick it up a few days later.

I have a book that I'd been waiting for since last year. Bought it when it came out and hid it from hubby because I wanted to read it first on our hols in September. Of course mum died the day we were due to go away and the book is still sitting there unread. Hubby keeps asking where it is and I won't tell him. I have so many from the library and much as I really want to read this, I know it will be the last for quite a while and once it's read - it's read! My God, I even sound mad to me. Must check to see when the next one is due.

The latest book is out on Kindle now but I don't own a Kindle and don't really want one. Wonder if many authors do that.

Ah well, back to cardmaking - I'm looking forward to the new prompts.
