"Blunt" Tonic Studios Mini Paper Trimmer

I have noticed that my mini trimmer (guillotine type) no longer gives a sharp cut, it kinda pulls the paper apart giving a bit of a furry edge. Can I do anything to sharpen the cut? I know Dawn Bibby said to sharpen a punch by punching thru foil (???)

I was just thinking that youu could try cutting foil with the trimmer blade. My Fiskars trimmer (which I love) no longer has a razor sharp edge on it, and I've considered this, but I keep forgetting. Really, I should go n to the kitchen RIGHT NOW and give it a try and see what happens.
