Converting GSD to PDF
Hi
I have designed some files using Robo Master and now want to convert them into PDF so that they can be opened in other software.
I have converted them using Cute PDF but find that when it is imported into make the cut there is no way of defining what lines are cut or fold line. I normally distinguish between these using colour and different line styles but this is lost during the import of the PDF.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry can't help, but why design in RM if you aren't going to cut from it, why not design in the program you want to convert to? Doesn't make sense to me. I'm not sure how much help you will get here as it's a CraftRobo/Silhouette forum and we don't need to convert GSD files.

Converting by PDF isn't always the best way for other softwares to recognise...

I wasnt sure if I would get help here but thought it was worth an ask.
The reason I want to convert is that my mum and a friend of hers have other machines and they would like my designs in their format and I figured converting was easier (and faster) than having to design them again in another software.
Thanks for any help anyone can give.

As the software to make GSD files isn't very good, it would probably be better for you to learn something like Inkscape most software will use SVG format.

Hi
So you are designing in Robo Master and you want to convert for other machines, seems reasonable to me.
Silverst170 - What would be a better way to do it?
