Ooo!!! Now this is getting too spooky Flo - first Carolyn Saxby and now the same theme

I seem to have more spontanious thoughts and ideas jumping into my well crammed head re: Along the Line - it evokes all kind of things and I know it will allow me to wander off at a tangent somewhere along the line but not wander from the theme IYSWIM

Mine's going to be fairly structured - I'm doing a kind of autobiography of sorts - along the (life)line - I have it all storyboarded and just need to bring it to life now.

I know bits of it are going to be quite difficult for me as there are parts of my life that were pretty horrid, and I have done a really good job of pretending they never happened, but I'm going to have to confront them as I work on the sketchbook.

Am hoping it will be a healing experience.

Get me, I sound like a proper new ager

that's why I actually like the idea of sending the book away when it's done, a kind of "dealt with it, now let it go and move on" kind of way....

but I compeltely understand why others would rather keep hold of theirs after putting all that work into it!

Afternoon ladies, glad you are all having a good chin wag and getting your heads around this, irboo, you know you want to and it can be as simple as you like, what about the folds and stitches, surely thats down your street. I was planning all sorts of little textile samples for that one, in fact most themes can be stretched as far or as little as you like, I did think about stamping and exploring the different stamping techniques to patterns stamping feet hands etc in paint can you just image the mess - I'd be in my element!!

Sketchbook can be any size whatever you are comfortable working with and a sketch book is not just for sketches, postcards, magazine clippings, etc can all be added for inspiration.......I think its a no rules approach when creating your pages.

Dragonfly Jane, great to have you on board and I agree, it cuts down the postal costs!!

Getting my sketch book this weekend. Now off to find some train tracks near me........

I like the sound of this and I have done sketchbooks before both personel and in a group where we did a page for each other (the theme there was open). I have one problem though I have no scanner or photoshop (and wouldn't know how to use one if I had)so I cannot put pictures of my work on computor. Would this prevent me from joining in?

I agree, thats the ones I'm after, used them at art college quite a few years ago and wasn't sure they were still around. Love the quality of paper and they come in lots of sizes.

Khiaramai can you take photos and upload? I certainly wouldn't stop you from playing the more the merrier.
