Well, my Woodware trimmer cuts straight (they both do!) but I've seen some folks say their's doesn't

    Paper trimmers

I've had my Rotatrim Edgemaster about 8/9 years now and couldn't live without it for my cardmaking. Came with loads of different shaped wheels for different effects. Not the cheapest on the market but probably one of the best. Well worth considering if you can afford it.

Have never yet found a cutter / trimmer that ticks all the boxes and I have had a few! The Woodware one is ok but it folds at just the point you want to measure and it does not have enough measurements in enough places (ie vertically as well as horizontally) and quite often the blade pops out of the holder when in use.

I would like lines running down the plastic finger guard so I can easily measure up for matting.

I was quite pleased with the pink and grey X Cut trimmer (which only has cutting and scoring blades) but the cutting channel has got chewed up and I no longer get a straight edge.

My little X Cut trimmer does not cut square.

I must have spend well over £200 on cutters / trimmers as I think they are one of the most important pieces of equipment and have still not found one I am totally pleased with.

I have both a woodware trimmer and a bigger purple cow and find them both good. I tend to use the woodware one for straight trimming and the purple cow for fancy edges.
