    cool Studio Tutorial Requests

This post was prompted by the number of requests I had last week to write instructions/tutorials for a couple of things, so I thought it might be worth starting a new sticky thread where people can post requests for tutorials on how they can make cutting files for things they have seen.

If it is only general help you need eg. where is such an option, how do I make a line dashed or how do I draw X please post in the general area of Chat.

Sorry no can do, I can't write a tut for a function Studio doesn't have and I don't do drawing lessons, but you can use the drawing tutorial for RoboMaster if you like torturing yourself or learn to make them in Inkscape which has the Spiro tool.

I'm sure I've seen something about transferring GSD files into Studio, but do you think I can find it? No I can't and I've searched everywhere I can think of. Can anyone help please? I've tried clicking on the Import Robo Master files but nothing happens.

If you change the file association from RoboMaster to Studio, then you can open them by double clicking on the file.

To answer your query there is no tutorial for that. Studio works the same as all other programs do with regard to opening files, it has it's default format and there is a drop down menu for the others, if the format isn't on the list then it doesn't open that format.

Lucille how would I make a mat with an edge of offset snowflakes, like this one please?

I have already worked out the small and large snowflakes, just would like to know how to put them around the edge of a mat with the offset.

    Snowflake and Border Frame

Is this the sort of look you are after. If so, I will give you some guidance if that's ok with Lucille. As I use a MAC, the dingbats are not exactly the same as yours, but you will be able to produce something similar yourself. HTH

Yes, but without the green please. It is so I can cut a mat with a snowflake edge. I can do without my punch around the page punches that never line up properly.

    Thanks
