Wow what was the card like?

Card seems to go for lots if you have a well known blog and on a design team. On another site I go to a member sells cards on that site that you bid on. She says people buy them to put on canvas to hang on the wall. Most of her cards sell for around £28 but I have seen some of her cards go for over £40 and she sells at least 10 a week.

I would never pay that for them but lots of people do.

I had to Google / Wiki to find out who Edie Beale was, that a handmade valentine from her in 1981 was worth that sort of money! I gather she was a socialite / first cousin of Jacqueline Bouvier --> Kennedy --> Onassis!

Does seem to be very silly money, though. I'm happy with £1.50 for a card
