Robo Rebel
new stupid question
Right santa bought me a lovely new (non robo ...I know but could not afford the pro) machine for christmas that saves in wpc format...I know that I can convert gsd to wpc but is there a way to convert wpc to gsd ? The reason I ask is I have fallen in love with this software (although not very good yet) and would like to share some of the new designs....if possible without using the dreaded inkscape( I still have nightmares about that program)
Thanks

You can open the WPC in your software export as a DXF then load into Robomaster

Hi If is is a P then yes as Doreen says you can export (you do get that silly thing though where it is small) I suggest that you also try the simplyfy path as the software gives you lots of nodes and this can reduce them but be careful with this function as it can do things you dont want..

Is it the Funtime software...... thats my fav now as well, and I think I use them all. I convert to DXF and then to GSD no problem.

Ahhhh I did try and it came out soooo small I thought I had done something wrong so I deleted it lol...will have another go tomorrow and look properly this time. Yes it is funtime and I love it...I can't do things as quick at the moment but I can see once I get used to it how fab it will be. The family think I have gone mad because when I find a new feature like the multiply many I sit grinning like an idot

I love Funtime Software and I use it a lot! It's drawing features are awesome, and editing the nodes is so simple. And you can use it with the craft robo and the Craft robo Pro!

I know the P machine now has a version of Funtime, but ladies who also have funtime did you get it direct from Funtime itself or did you find a UK stockist, I downloaded the demo version and it seems its what I want
If sending to the Robo can you send it direct or is it PDF you cut from

I bought mine from America but not the makers (I believe they're in Canada). Export as a dxf (like in Inkscape) and load into Robomaster. It comes in very tiny in the bottom left of the cutting area, you need to zoom out draw an imaginary box around it and either right click and resize it in the box that comes up or drag it by the corner so it resize in proportion

I bought Funtime from a USA company, and another copy from a UKS member who was selling hers. I think Tina was looking at selling Funtime at one stage, not sure if she is (www.forevermemoriesforyou.co.uk).
I cut direct from funtime to the robo (wpc format), but also convert to dxf and cut from robomaster to make sure both work fine
