Received a couple of lovely ATCs from wendy and Julie yesterday. What I love about ATCs is that they are all so different. Thanks ladies.

Honeypip, I don't mind 1 or 2? But I need a little more time to get them done....2 will take longer Hoping that after next week when the term finishes I will have more time to get more crafty projects done. Will get them done this weekend anyway.

Enjoy Julie. thanks for the encaustic atc. Never had a go at encaustic. It looks really intriguing. Is it easy to do?

I have a love/hate relationship with my wax and iron and try to stick to the simple stuff. I have attempted a few landscapes which came out okay but the wax gets muddy if you overwork it, well mine does That said, the waxes are not too dear (from what I can remember) and the iron comes in handy for some of Sir Tim's techniques (drying off scrumpled tags etc). If you have got an iron or decide to get one, I could send you some wax so you can give it a go

Sorry if these are daft questions, I missed the start of this swap and can't find the info I need...

Do we only swap atc's once a month, or can we swap as often as we want to? Do I just jump in whenever I feel like it or what?

I think it pretty much works on the basis that you sign up, and send an ATC to the person before and the one the signs up after you. You should get these sorted before signing up again. Other than that there are no rules (other than the size). Any theme, colour, technique you care to choose, in one of a kind atc's, or maybe a set eg I've just made a set of 7, the first 2 went the first time I signed up, then the next 2 next time I signed up and so on (kept one for myself). You can swap more than 1 atc with your swapees if you agree it. HTH. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong on this.

yep thats pretty much it, but for anyone else who is a bit unsure - look at the start of the thread all the 'rules' are there.

    Hope everyone is well.

I'm a bit concerned that the ones I sent this week haven't got to the swappee as I haven't heard and they were sent first class.

Let me know if I owe you - I should be completely up to date.

Right - busy day yesterday, but I did get lovely atc from fatmonica - fab paris one with sparkle, and 2 (now I'm worried I owe you Gill - sure I only sent one) lovely laminated ones from cantstopstampin. Thank-you ladies!

Particulary like the little girl one - she reminds me of my dd (4yrs) - tho at the moment I'm stressing over her ballet exam she has tomorrow, and somebody (cant get it out of her) has cut her hair - less than an inch at the top at the back. She is supposed to look pristine, with beautiful clean hair. Its not too noticeable, but I feel an appt with the hairdresser coming on...
