    Envelope maker

HI, I wonder if someone can please help me. I have a couple of enveloper boards and they are great for making standard sized enevlopes (using the sizes given in the instruction booklet).
I tend to make cards that are different sizes and wonder if there is a method in knowing what size paper and also what line to score on to get the correct size. I have wasted so much paper on trying to work it out!
    Many thanks
    Sarah x

Hi if you go to crafters companion web site you can download the measurements for there envelope maker and they have all the paper sizes and which lines to follow for each envelope and they normally go with other boards that you might have. Hope this is of some help.

would you be kind enough to point me in the right direction on the site please?
I was searching the other day on their site for the same thing, but gave up and put my enveloper back in the cupboard.
    Thanks
    Caz

My daughter usually measures the card and has a practice at making diff sizes. she puts the card on A3 paper then folds in the sides and then alters the size to fit that for the enveloper. I 'll try did out some sizes that she has done it that helps.

here are some that i found

    7 inch x 7 inch
A3 paper cut to 27cm by 27 cm then use the lines on the enveloper D allround if thats not right try D1 as i cant make out her writing lol sorry..

    6 inch x 6 inch A3 paper 25.5cm by 25.5cm use same lines D1

    6.5 x6.5 A3 paper 26cm by 26cm use lines D1 again

    A4 folded card envelope. 28.5cm by 29cm use lines D and E

just have a play but the lines i quote are aprox as i cant see the letters on this paper properly but its def D or D1

hope this helps. everyone trys to help me at some point so thought i would give some back as i cant make templates..

Thanks for the file - does anyone know a link to the instructions for the Martha Stuart envelope maker that comes with the 12 x 12 score board? Managed to lose them...
