    Envelope Help Please!

    Hi,

I am looking for a good source for envelopes, can anyone recommend a good site? I recently purchased C6 envelopes from Paperchase but they prove to be a bit expensive, I'm looking for:

    C7
    C6
    160mm x 160mm (for my 6X6 cards)

Can anyone help? I bought the Martha Stewart scoreboard in the hopes that it would help, however they have all come out wrong as I just can't seem to work it properly (yep, i'm that stupid )

    Thanks in advance
    Ang

you know the plastic triangles the kids had with a square corner..

Asda do them for 50p in a set with a compass...

You need one of them to make quick envelopes...

You will Always need to use a square of card to start..

and it may be better to open an old envelope as a template, as there is a formual but do you all want to do Algerba at 9 in the morning?

    http://www.scor-pal.com/envelope/index.htm

    This makes the trifold envelopes...

Will have to measure and make a table for ones with the triangles..

Thanks for the advice, much appreciated. I have tried again with my scoreboard and think I might sell it, I just don't have the patience I think I'll continue to look for a good place to buy them from!

i buy my C6 from any of the high street stores, I simply shopped around till i found the ones I liked best..

C7 is a very small envelope.

I looked how to use your board to make envelopes and they do it different to me..

you need to work out your card size first...

6" double it to cover the card size and add 1 1/2" so that's 13 1/2 across the middle from point to point, which gives you a square of card 9 1/2 "

Turn your card on the board so both oppersite corner points are on the 6" line.

score the 2 3/4" and on the 9 1/4" lines.

Turn it round 1/4 turn amd score the same again .

you should find you have a perfect envelope.

I have had some from the auction site and they were okay, but I can't remember the seller. I normally just get mine locally though, so that's not much help to you.

I have bought some randomly from the Auction site, as they seem better quality than the ones I have bought locally
