What do you do with your scraps?
I have launched a little challenge on my blog to dust off your scraps box and get creating!
If you fancy joining in the info is on my blog here http://craftfairy.blogspot.com/2010/...challenge.html
I tend to use mine for making cards as most of my scraps are on the small side...what do you do with yours?

Make cards as you do - to give as gifts to non cardmakers - also both for sale, and for charity. Loads of piccies of them on my blog. I keep all my scraps, irrespective of size - I punch a lot of circles etc out of the smaller bits.
I keep each colour in a separate bag and go to that also for scrapbook pages, etc.

I mainly make cards with mine too - at the moment I am trying to make cards straight after making a layout otherwise the scraps disappear into my scrap file and then stay there . I tend to punch shapes out of the smaller bits like butterflies, flowers, leaves and then use them to make my own embellishments on layouts and cards.

I'm with June on this one. I know it is a cardinal sin to throw stuff away but I keep mine in a drawer then when it's full I go through and throw most of it in the bin

So many photos, so little time
I cut lots of circles out, any size from about 1" upwards, either with a punch/template or freehand, distress them a bit (not essential) and use them for multi-layered flowers. Ideal for LOs or cards, and once you have lots you can nearly always find a suitable colour combo where a single flower wouldn't be just right.
I've also cut small butterfly shapes out and added a scalloped edge to short strips - ideal for tucking under something else on a LO.
Despite the above, I still have far too many scraps!

I go through mine periodically and give them to my DD's pre-school.

I've blogged what I've been doing with my scraps today.

I let my kids have my scraps they love to make their own cards and pictures with them. We did a huge collage poster using scraps for DS1 school project last term. DS2 has taken to my punches so he punches shapes and sticks them to cards.

Life is not a dress rehearsal.
I have several bags for different colours and different size scraps. I keep pp and cardstock separate. Pieces that are odd shapes or small I use punches and have a plastic bag sellotaped to the end of my desk where I put all the punched shapes. When full I give them to the craft club at my school.
Periodically I sort through scraps and donate them to school too.
Small cardstock pieces I keep in a tin and use for cutting letters with my sidekick.
I regularly use scraps on my LOs and found separating colours helps to ensure I use them.
I rarely throw anything useable away. I noticed there are several UKS members who will have scraps from you and use to make cards for charity. Now that has to be better than throwing stuff away.

Agree entirely, Diane -the thought of throwing all that good stuff away! I have also blogged using some scraps.

I stick mine on sheets of card, once full I use them as backgrounds.
Pop over to my blog and have a look, I've just made an easel card using my scraps.

Off to look at your blog, Jan. I've been making cards again - and used up not just scraps of card and paper, but embellishments too.
