    Exclamation ** Card a Day challenge: April 9th - April 15th **

Here are this week's prompts - remember you can use any of the inspiration they provide - whether it's the prompt title or the elements or just the fact you're making a card!

Looks like the creators of the book didn't know when Easter was falling this year before the book went to press, so lots of Easter ideas still on show - but I am sure you can come up with a different spin!

Fri 9th - "Hey, Chickie" - Inspiration: Inked edges, mod/retro papers, floral background, sheer ribbon, handwritten-style greeting.

Sat 10th - "Worthy is the Lamb" - Inspiration: Religious theme, brackets, bling design/flourish, zig-zag stitching.

Sun 11th - "Hoppy Easter" - Inspiration: Bright flowers, twine/string, lace trim, polka dot background.

Mon 12th - "Easter Eggs" - Inspiration: Three shaped elements (e.g., 3 circles, 3 stars, 3 hearts, etc.), punched border, bunny/bear.

And wait for it... to celebrate National Scrabble day....

Tue 13th - "Scrabble Congrats" - Inspiration: Tiled alphabet, woodgrain design, vintage-style label/journaling card, retro pattern.

Wed 14th - "Grow a Friend" - Inspiration: Green/red/pink, portrait card, ric-rac, stitched border, Basic Grey.

Thu 15th - "R-r-r-rev My Motor" - Inspiration: Manly theme, contrasting colours, digi element/hybrid design, alpha stickers, landscape card.

    About this challenge
Every Friday I will be posting prompts based on card designs that appear in the "Card a Day" 2010 idea book from Papercrafts.

This is a stress-free challenge as you just take what inspiration you want from the prompts to create as many or as few cards a week as you are happy with.

How you interpret the prompts is up to you, you can use the title, elements, or none of the above as a springboard to your own ideas. And you can try to incorporate the elements in cards for other challenges.

Just share what you make in the dedicated weekly thread.

You can find previous prompts in Challenges and Inspiration and post your cards to the relevant threads any time - there are no deadlines!
